Summary: You contact businesses in the following deregulated regions: Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey and soon New York. You offer free energy quotes to those businesses. If you can offer them a lower rate, usually 10-30 percent lower, and they adopt these new rates, you receive a residual commission. The contracts last between one and three years. You receive checks monthly as long as the business remains with the new electric company.
The requirements for this job are as follows:
- good communication skills
- basic to moderate computer skills
- access to PC with an internet connection
- access to phone line(s) with long distance calling plan
